(4 HRS) Johannesburg's favourite theme park, a recreated mining village dating from the 1890's. Descend down a Gold mine shaft to 220m/715 ft below the surface, see gold being poured. African Dancers. Early Architecture.
Numerous rides are available ranging from log flume rides to inverted coaster. The Gold Reef casino is available within walking distance from the amusement park. Gold mine tours are conducted; You will be taken through the museum, travel down the mine shaft, view the gold reef that gave birth to Johannesburg and watch the gold pour.
